A warm, welcoming glow encompasses this beautiful estate home in Weldon Springs, Missouri. From the lights hung in the eves to guide you through the porte-cochere, to the lighting on the water feature at the entrance, the lighting plan for this home brings the grandeur of a country club to this home.
We worked with the homeowners to find lighting fixtures from Unique Lighting in a weathered brass to give this new lighting installation a refined elegance that complements the rich wooden doors and accents on the exterior of the home. The front facade and the front garden are washed with a glow from Pulsar Bullet uplights, highlighting the water feature in the center of the motor court. These lights highlight the beauty of the home’s design and provide safety for the homeowners.
Guiding visitors and the eye through the property and along the foot and motor paths are Lancer 6 lights, which are simple and elegant LED lights that cast a soft downward glow. Highlighting the auto court are gutter mounted lights on the eves of the overpass, and Apollo Stars well lights along the drive.
We worked closely with the homeowners to develop a custom lighting plan that played to the beauty of this home, and also created a new dimension to the home’s design after the sunset. The lighting plan of this home, in particular, highlights the texture and organic movement that can be created by including a variety of lighting angles and products to draw the visitor’s eye across the landscape and architecture and highlights unique and beautiful aspects of the home and garden.
