Huntleigh – Spotlight on Art
From the moment you first step foot onto this gorgeous property in Huntleigh, MO, the homeowners’ love of and appreciation for art is apparent. From the elegant stonework to the focal sculptural piece to the archway into the garden, it’s clear that every element of the house and grounds was chosen with care.
The homeowners approached us because they were looking for a lighting firm that had the capability to design and install a truly custom solution for their needs. They were looking for architectural and landscape lighting that could accentuate the beauty of their home, but also create inviting spaces for outdoor entertaining and enhance their home’s overall security.
Because of the size of the grounds and the variety of functions the landscape lighting needed to fulfill, we used a broad range of fixtures and bulb types for this project. As with every Frisella Lighting project, we used carefully planned arrangements, dedicated transformers, and buried wires throughout to ensure the longevity and stability of the landscape lighting.
Varying the intensities and color temperature of the LED bulbs themselves allowed us to highlight both the craftsmanship in the masonry and the exterior artwork, for a truly dramatic effect upon approach to the home. At the same time, we used a softer effect and special designer lenses to draw visitors through the garden arches and into the more private entertaining and outdoor living spaces.
The ultimate effect on the interplay of architecture, lighting, and landscape is a truly unique atmosphere for a truly unique home, and a project we’re proud to have been a part of.
